Piper is so-named because she has an opinion about everything, and no qualms about expressing them. I nearly named her "Peeper" as a kitten, and then decided that it wouldn't be dignified enough for a grown up cat. Her other names are Catloaf and Princess Here's My Butt. She weighs 17 lbs, and her favorite place to sleep is on my head. She can beat up her brother Hobbes with one paw behind her.
